Harpeth Gymnastics was established in 1986 under the name Harpeth School of Gymnastics by Franklin natives, Scott and Glenda Webster.

Scott graduated from Franklin High School in 1974 and received his Masters in Education from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). As a graduate assistant he taught gymnastics, tennis, and swimming. Upon graduation, he became a schoolteacher and coach. Scott began teaching gymnastics fulltime in 1983 and opened Harpeth School of Gymnastics in January 1986. Coach Scott’s passion and gift for coaching has been the cornerstone of HSG since the inception.

Glenda also graduated from Franklin High School in 1974 and attended MTSU where she studied Business and Early Childhood Education. She grew up in a family-owned business where she learned the value of strong work ethics and investing in community. She brought those invaluable experiences to the start-up and operation of HSG. Along with raising their four children, she has been privileged to enjoy all aspects of managing Harpeth Gymnastics for the past thirty-five years.

Today, Harpeth Gymnastics offers a wide variety of gymnastics programs. Our classes include: Mommy and Me, preschool, recreational (girls and boys), tumbling, gymNinja and KIDtastic (adaptive gymnastics). In addition, boys and girls gymnastics teams are available for your competitive gymnast. Back handspring and cartwheel clinics, private lessons, parents night out, and spectacular birthday parties are all part of our exceptional program offerings. In addition to our year-round gymnastics programs, we offer a top quality swimming program May – July each year.
